Please listen to the crossing guards. They are there to cross the children safely, and will assist with traffic if the conditions become hazardous to the safety of the children.
Use your turn signals. It helps the crossing guards move the traffic.
Do not park in the crosswalk area. It cuts down on the visibility for motorists and pedestrians.
Do not double park (stop) and wait for a parking spot. You are blocking traffic.
Do not pass on the left if someone is stopped in front of you.
Do not pass on the right. This is the parking area not a traffic lane.
Do not make U-turns on any roadway.
Do not use the school parking lots.
Oradell Public School
YOU MAY: Park your vehicle as long as you remain in it, on the North and South side of Church Street and on the north side of Center Street when you drop off or pick up children. In these locations, you may not park your car and leave it. Violaters will be ticketed and/or towed.
DO NOT: Double park and allow children to walk between stopped or parked cars or cross the street where a crosswalk is not present. Both of these acts are extremely dangerous and illegal and will be strictly enforced.
NOON TIME: Parents who pick up their children for lunch, may park on the south side of Church St. and the north side of Center St. for the few minutes needed.
REMINDER: Please use your turn signals around the school. It helps the Crossing guards to move the traffic. Please DO NOT JAY WALK. These are both State laws and will be strictly enforced.
Saint Joseph's School
The area on Elm Street, in front of the school is a No Parking area. You may park in this area only if you remain in your car.
DO NOT PARK ACROSS FROM THE SCHOOL: There is NO PARKING on the west side of Elm Street.

Drive with caution. Roads maybe icy. Be cautious of black ice.
