  • Three Commercial burglaries occurred on the southern end of Kinderkamack Rd during the early moring hours on 3/31/12
  • Trespassing and Copper Thefts have occurred on Van Buskirk Island on the old water company property.  This matter is currently under investigation with the Oradell and Bergen County Police Dept.'s
  • The burglaries are currently under investigation with the Oradell Police Dept. and the Bergen County Sheriff's Dept.
  •  We urge all residents to be vigil in your neighborhoods and report any and all suspicious activity to the Police.
  • There also has been a rise in motor vehicle burglaries in and around the surrounding communities. As a reminder please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle unattended or unsecured for any period of time. It only takes a few seconds and it’s gone!
  • All matters are currently under investigation.

This week in 500 block of Kinderkamack Road an actor or actors smashed serveral vehicle windows to steal the items inside.

!!! ALERT !!! Smash & Grab - Always lock your doors and secure all items.  NOTE: DO NOT leave phones, GPS units, other electronics, wallets and pocked books out in the open for all to see and possibly take!

In the event of a ROAD CLOSURE, CAUTION, HAZARD, CLOSED, DETOUR, Follow detours and do not go around barricades or cones on any street closure.

Elm Street Bridge Closed

Bergen County has CLOSED the Elm Street bridge until further notice. 

Bridge Construction will start on 4/9/12.  No vehicular or pedestrian traffic in or around the site will permitted.
